Featuring some of Toronto's best seafood restaurants and suppliers, and live music, the festivities take place: Friday and Saturday, 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 11:00 p.m., and Sunday 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 5:00 p.m. For more information call 416-392-7120.
North American Oyster Shucking Championships
August 22-24, 2003
The market will also host the North American Oyster Shucking Championships featuring shuckers from across Canada and the United States. Qualifying rounds on Friday and Saturday; championships will be held on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The St. Lawrence Community mega-sidewalk sale runs Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. To book a table, email the Community Bulletin before August 14th.

BuskerFest is Toronto's International Street Performer's Festival where the world's best Buskers converge on Toronto for four days and nights of entertainment from more than 40 of the world's top street performers. Proceeds go to support Epilepsy Toronto, a not-for-profit organization which provides support to more than 40,000 people living with Epilepsy and seizure disorders in the city of Toronto.
From noon to 11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and from noon to 5p.m. on Sunday, buskers from around the world including Canada, the U.S., Australia and Europe will thrill you with daring feats of fire, martial arts, comedy, music, juggling, acrobatics, miming, storytelling and much, much more. Market Lane Park will be used for children's area with clown, jugglers, tents, etc. Expansion area will be Berczy Park.
