The Ontario Association for the Deaf presents an outing for anyone who experiences the challenges of hearing loss or deafness. There will be plenty of booths, entertainment and children's activities. For more information, 416-413-1093 (TTY). Cost: $5 for adults; $3 for children 12 and under.

SOUTH MARKET / MARKET GALLERY: Toronto’s second City Hall, a unique structure built in 1844, was encased in the South St. Lawrence Market when City Hall relocated to Queen Street in 1899. Tours will include the former council chambers (now the Market Gallery) and the bricked-in remains of the former mayor’s office (for over 50 years, the most powerful room in Toronto).
- Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Anne Shropshire of the Market Gallery will offer history presentations and behind-the-scenes tours (more information: 416-392-7604)
- Saturday, 2 p.m.: an encore presentation of Jim Blake's "A Building Affair," originally presented at this year’s Storytelling Festival
- Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.: tours by Bruce Bell, the official Market historian (416-350-2052)
- Sunday, 1 p.m.: a free family-friendly performance by Opera Atelier
No pre-registration or tickets required.
ST. LAWRENCE HALL: Two Artists Show (May 25 - June 2). The historical hall hosts a multi-media installation of surrealist paintings by Robert Vanderhorst with nightly (8 p.m.) musical performances by Nash the Slash. Free admission 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; $10 after 7 p.m. Cash bar available.

Bike Week

For Bike Week, people are asked to bike to and from work. Those who bike to the Market on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday will enjoy the "Tastes of the Market": free samples of coffees, drinks and munchies (while supplies last). Samples located along Market Street (west side of the South Market).
