People are asked to bike to and from work. People that bike to the Market on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday will enjoy the "Tastes of the Market": free samples of coffees, drinks and munchies, while supplies last. Samples located along Market Street (west side of the South Market).

Food & History Shows in The Kitchen
Saturdays at 10 a.m. & 2 p.m., South Market, West Mezzanine

kitchenfoodbannersmall.gif - 18964 Bytes Each show features a 15-20 minute talk by Bruce Bell, the Market Historian, or Bill Genova, tour guide, on the history of the Market buildings and Old Town Toronto.

Following that, Market vendors or notable food experts present demonstrations, samplings and/or discussions on food. The food portion of the show lasts 20-30 minutes and changes each week. Upcoming Food events include:
