June 2007 at the Market
Woofstock, a Festival for Dogs
June 9-10, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Front Street, Church Street, Market Street, Market Lane Park, Wellington Street, Berczy Park

If there ever was a doggie love-in, this is it. Woofstock®, North America's largest outdoor festival for dogs and their two-footed companions, returns to Toronto's historic St. Lawrence Market Neighborhood for its fifth year. Quirky and fun, Woofstock is a free-admission, festive entertainment and consumer show.

woofstockdog.jpg - 634899 Bytes More than over 200 companies will be offering the latest in pooch food, fashion, furnishings and unique services that will provide everything that a cool canine would need to live well in this dog-eat-dog world.

There will be zany contests that unleash the best that dogs of every size, breed and pedigree have to offer. Gregarious mutts can show off an amusing range of unique feats as they compete for the position of top dog in the Stupid Dog Trick Contest. The cutest and most handsome dogs will strut their stuff for the Ms. & Mr. Canine Canada Pageant. Furry fashionistas will take to the runway, in the Old Navy Fashion Show. On Sunday, the "Rescue Me Walk-a-thon" cuts a path through Woofstock in support of Ontario Canine Rescue.
