October 1999 at the Market

Fall Harvest Art Competition

Inspired by the festival of fall colours that emerge this time of year, the St. Lawrence Market, historically a colourful showplace of nature's bounty, invites artists 17 and under to display their own version of "Fall Harvest."

12 artists will each be awarded a pumpkin and a $50 gift certificate. Winning entries will be displayed in The Market Gallery from October 19 to December 31, 1999. Details and an entry form are at the end of this link.

Saturdays at the Market: As Individual as You

FREE PARCEL PICKUP SERVICE
Leave your parcels or bagged groceries in the holding area outside the Lower Level on Market Street, pull up in your car and we'll load them for you--at no charge and with pleasure.

FREE CAR-CARRY-OUT SERVICE
Our service assistants will be glad to carry your parcels to your car if it's parked within the specified boundaries. Boundary map is displayed at the depot (outside the Operations Office on Market Street).

CONVENIENT PARKING
The market is surrounded by meters and parking lots, with a 2-hour stay as low as $2.00. There are hundreds of spaces within a 2-minute walk. See our parking map for lot locations
