In 1959, when Queen Elizabeth II spent two days in Toronto, she opened a new maple leaf floral display at High Park that remains to this day. Join Dr. Carolyn Harris, historian, author and royal commentator, to learn more about the Queen's visits to our city.

Harris currently teaches history at the University of Toronto, School of Continuing Studies. Her third book, "Raising Royalty: 1000 Years of Royal Parenting" was published by Dundurn Press in 2017.

The talk will be followed by tea, sandwiches and treats in the Market Kitchen.
