I Heart Market Street Music Series

In partnership with the St. Lawrence Market Neighbourhood BIA, the I Heart Market Street Music Series brings live music performances to Market Street on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week. The diverse lineup of Toronto-based artists spans across genres including classical, folk, funk, jazz, and more. This series is scheduled to run weekly through September and is free to attend.

‘Las Almas’—the duo of Laura Fernandez and Noah Zacharin—combines North American sensibilities with Latin and World influences. Their repertoire of originals and classic covers are presented in both Spanish and English. Rhythms and melodies of many cultures blend to offer a palette of savoury to sweet to spicy hot, that will seduce the listeners with enchanting melodies, thoughtful lyrics, sublime harmonies, and instrumental bliss.
From upbeat excitement to mellow nostalgia, Erica Knox is reinventing her sound with self-portrayed intimate lyrics about love, life, and identity, alongside catchy hooks, reminiscent of modern day hitmakers Taylor Swift and Julia Michaels. The 2019 ‘Best Emerging Artist in Canada’ nominee is currently recording new music, as her newest singles ‘Paradise Forever’ and ‘Make Me Happy’ are the first of many to come.
