Sara Spector is the owner and proprietor of Everyday Gourmet. The business was started by her brother, Sam, in 1979 as a gourmet espresso bar. It is still a family-run business with her sister-in-law, nieces, and other family members helping out with various aspects of the busy coffee bar and retail store.
Everyday Gourmet began roasting and selling fresh roasted coffee beans onsite in 1996. Sara is very proud of the antique roasting machine that gleams in all its copper glory at the back of her shop. The divine aroma of roasting coffee flows from the shop through a ventilation system onto Market Street.
They also sell a diverse selection of coffee and tea-making accessories, as well as spices, maple products, chocolate-covered espresso beans and cold drinks.
