The Instant Caterer has been in business at the same location in the Market since 1996. Over the years, the company has established a solid reputation as a place where customers can find unique gourmet meals of world cuisine, prepared, fresh frozen, and ready to heat and serve. Owner Stephen Chow has many contacts in Toronto's restaurant and food preparation circles, and has the finest chefs of many cultures prepare their specialties for his store.

In addition to a vast selection of prepared, frozen gourmet meals from many cultures, they also carry a huge choice of condiments and sauces. They have the largest, most complete line of hot sauces from around the globe in the Market, if not the city.

Stephen takes pride in representing and promoting small, individual businesses that have new or enticing food products that they are introducing to the public. He allows them space to show and demonstrate their products to the shoppers at the Market to establish their reputations, and then carries their products in his store.
