A Bisket A Basket has been at the same location at the center of the busy lower level of the South Market since 1992. Urs bought the business in 2002 and expanded the line of jams and condiments available at the store. All made from his own recipes, Urs offers a complete line of homemade jams, jellies, chutneys and pestos, as well as custom sauces and salad dressings. He is constantly working to invent new combinations of tasty delights. Samples of many of his jams are available at his booth on Saturdays.

Some of his most popular jams are Red Lavender (strawberry & merlot), Black & Blue (blackberry), black currant & gin, Mango/Lime, Decadence/Celebration (a Christmas jam with white chocolate and apricots), Red Pepper Jelly, Pina-Colada & Rum, and many more (80 to 90 varieties of jams). All are designed to tickle your taste buds with your morning toast and coffee or spice up your cooking repertoire.

Urs has also developed a line of sugar-alternative jams for those on restricted diets. He also will put together gift baskets for customers, tourists or corporate clients on request with a mixture of his own products and other treats. Urs is open to work in co-operation with special requests, to discover new recipes using his jams and condiments.
