What are the hours of the St. Lawrence Market?

The South Market has expanded hours of operation under the 2022/2023 Hours of Operation Pilot Project until July 31, 2023

South Market:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
: 9 am to 7 pm
Saturday: 7 am to 5 pm
Sunday: 10 am to 5 pm
Closed Mondays

Saturday Farmers Market: 5am to 3pm

Where can I park?

City of Toronto Green ‘P’ parking lots are located south behind the South Market Building, at Lower Jarvis Street and the Esplanade and in the parking garage on the east side of Lower Jarvis Street adjacent to the South Market, just below Front Street.

On Saturday's, Market shoppers get the special rate of $2.00 for the first two hours at this Green 'P' parking lot.

Is the St. Lawrence Market wheelchair accessible?

The St. Lawrence Market is wheelchair accessible. An elevator is available just inside the main doors of the South Market that allows customers to access the Market Gallery, The Market Kitchen, and the lower level of the Market.

There is a TD Bank machine located at the front of the North Market. In the South Market, there are a number of ATMs available throughout the building on both levels.

What forms of payment are accepted at the St. Lawrence Market?

Accepted forms of payment differ between vendors. All vendors accept cash, many accept Interac or major credit cards.

Due to Toronto Public Health regulations, pets are not permitted inside the North or South Market buildings.

Does the St. Lawrence Market have a lost and found?

Our Lost and Found is located in the Administrative Office at 105 The Esplanade, Toronto ON M5E 2A2. If you have lost an item, stop by to see if it has been dropped off, or you may leave your information with City staff and we will call you if your item is turned in.
