Saturdays from 5am / 3pm

South Market:

Tuesdays - Fridays - 9am / 5pm
Saturdays - 5am / 4pm

Sunday Antique Market:

Temporarily closed until further notice.

Holiday Hours - Canada Day

The South Market will be open for regular hours during the Simcoe Day long weekend. The Market will be open on Saturday, August 1 from 5am-4pm and closed on Sunday and Monday.

The St. Lawrence Market is a public food market that provides fresh and prepared foods to local residents. Since 1803 the Market has been a community anchor offering products and services to the St. Lawrence Market neighbourhood and Toronto overall. The Market believes in the importance of local food systems and is committed to remaining open to provide food access. The Market is a food retail establishment that remains open under guidance from the Province of Ontario.

The Market continues to be open to the public with revised of operation during the COVID-19 situation. However, some merchants have closed. Please see the list closures here.

Parking Special for Saturday Shoppers

A City of Toronto Green P parking lot (St. Lawrence Garage) is located south of the South Market Building, at Lower Jarvis Street and The Esplanade. On Saturdays, Market shoppers get the special rate of $1.00 per hour for the first to hours at this Green P lot. This deal is only valid from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays.
