Upper Cut Meats was started by Bob in 1984 when he took over Olympic Butchers, a meat business that had been at the Market for years. Bob has a degree in Business Management, and learned about the meat business by working for several butchers in the Market. He and his brother Tom have been at the same location since then, offering the finest in meat products to the shopping public, as well as many of the best restaurants in the city.
They specialize in top quality meats, and offer custom orders to their clientele. They offer a complete line of beef, pork, lamb and poultry products. Their ground meats are the best quality and their chops, ribs, roasts and steaks are always of the best cuts of meat. "A cut above the rest" is their slogan and it holds true with all their products. Bob and Tom enjoy dealing with their customers on a first-name basis, and getting to know their wants and needs. Many of their patrons have become regular customers and loyal friends. Bob and Tom have watched many of their clients’ children grow up during their regular weekend visits to the Market. They willingly offer advice on the best cuts of meat for special occasions, as well as cooking and preparation suggestions.
