I Heart Market Street Music Series

In partnership with the St. Lawrence Market Neighbourhood BIA, the I Heart Market Street Music Series brings live music performances to Market Street on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week. The diverse lineup of Toronto-based artists spans across genres including classical, folk, funk, jazz, and more. This series is scheduled to run weekly until mid-September and is free to attend.

11:30AM - 1:30PM: Mo Guzman
5:00PM - 7:00PM: Market Street Strings
Mo Guzman began his musical career busking on the streets of downtown Toronto. He is known for engaging with audiences of all ages and backgrounds. His unique vocal style reflects this diversity, with a repertoire ranging from 1960’s to modern day, including R&B, pop, rock, soul, country and more.
Market Street Strings are a collective of musicians from two community orchestras, Corktown Chamber Orchestra and Counterpoint Community Orchestra. The group came together during the pandemic lockdowns when all the music stopped and every venue shut down. Their love of music compelled them to take their rehearsals and performances outside. The string ensemble that performs at the market most weekends, rain or shine!
