I Heart Market Street Music Series

In partnership with the St. Lawrence Market Neighbourhood BIA, the I Heart Market Street Music Series brings live music performances to Market Street on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week. The diverse lineup of Toronto-based artists spans across genres including classical, folk, funk, jazz, and more. This series is scheduled to run weekly until mid-September and is free to attend.

5:00PM - 7:00PM: Ana Lia
Sarah Gao is a Montreal-based singer-songwriter, vocalist and pianist. As an ARCT certified classical pianist, Sarah has performed in various award winning jazz ensembles, and was a featured soloist at TedXMcGill. She is currently working on her debut EP which addresses challenges with identity faced by North-American born Asians.
Ana Lía lights up a room. Her voice captivates audiences with its bright, rich, and warm tone, as she impersonates the soul of each song in a way that transcends spoken language. A Dominican born Canadian. Rhythmic Dominican and Latin songs, jazz, pop, R&B, flamenco, hip-hop, and even classical shape the way she crafts her music. A firecracker on stage.
