I Heart Market Street Music Series

In partnership with the St. Lawrence Market Neighbourhood BIA, the I Heart Market Street Music Series brings live music performances to Market Street on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week. The diverse lineup of Toronto-based artists spans across genres including classical, folk, funk, jazz, and more. This series is scheduled to run weekly until mid-September and is free to attend.

5:00PM - 7:00PM: Faith Amour with Michael Occhipinti

Jackson Steinwall is a Toronto based singer composer and multi instrumentalist. Coming from a musical family, Jackson has always been surrounded by music. He has been part of many bands as a bassist and currently fronts his own bands “Steinwall” and “Framboise” which are actively playing shows around Ontario. His most recent endeavour is as founder/host/leader of the Bigfamjam, an improvised jam session that happens Tuesday nights at Supermarket (in Kensington). Quickly becoming the biggest and best jam for toronto musicians, the Bigfam is inclusive and accepting jam open to all people of all skill levels.

Faith Amour is an award-winning Toronto jazz vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Faith Amour brings her “smooth as molasses”(Broadway World) voice to a new eclectic mix of uplifting original, world music and jazz-infused neo soul with the Imanova Project. She is joined for this musical trip around the world by the gifted Michael Occhipinti.
Michael Occhipinti is a sound sculpting guitarist and composer who freely moves between musical genres. An eleven- time JUNO Award nominee, Michael leads several acclaimed groups including ES:MO, his 2022 JUNO nominated duo with Elizabeth Shepherd. Michael won the 2022 JUNO for Jazz Group as a member of Avataar.
