Introducing: SALSA ON MARKET STREET! A new rhythm-infused series of events set to enliven the heart of Toronto’s Old Town this summer! We'lll be bringing non-stop street dancing to Market Street across three Sundays in June, July, & August, where the historic St. Lawrence neighbourhood will transform into a dance floor full of Latin music and culture!

With his stunning debut release, Brazilian Canadian multi-instrumentalist/singer, composer Carlos Cardozo delivers a compelling and intensely personal overview of Brazilian samba, bossa nova, forró, and funk, adding jazz and folkloric elements alongside the rhythms of northastern Brazil.

Araguacu is a professional dance company based in Toronto founded in 2013 by internationally recognized dancers and instructors Kim and Geo. With over 10 years of experience, we specialize in teaching and performing Bachata, and Mambo/Salsa On2. Our unique and impactful teaching methodology helps dancers find their fire, and develop the perfect blend of technique with flavor. Araguacu is where feeling meets technique!

Bachata Swing is not just a band; it's a melodic fusion of Toronto's finest talents from the rhythmic heartlands of the Dominican Republic, Chile, and Ecuador. Born from a collective passion for bachata and merengue, each member brings a rich tapestry of cultural influences and musical expertise to the table. United in their love for the vibrant melodies and infectious grooves of Bachata, their performances are a testament to the shared heritage that pulses through their veins.
