I Heart Market Street Music Series

In partnership with the St. Lawrence Market Neighbourhood BIA, the I Heart Market Street Music Series brings live music performances to Market Street on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week. The diverse lineup of Toronto-based artists spans across genres including classical, folk, funk, jazz, and more. This series is scheduled to run weekly until mid-September and is free to attend.

After graduating from Berklee in 2016 with a full scholarship, Andrew became involved in the Toronto music scene, accompanying world-class artists and vocalists such as Justin Nozuka, Joanna Majoko, Dayna Stephens and Jesse Ryan, to name a few. With Justin Nozuka, he had the opportunity to tour extensively throughout Europe, the United States and Canada. He has honed his teaching methods and has developed a strong group of students from Toronto and around the world.
Zaynab Wilson is a well-rounded and well-travelled musician who attunes to her gift of transmuting rhythm and harmony, and themes of the inward and outward journey, into song, story and groove. From her creatively unique upbringing, Zaynab’s current work reflects her interpretation of the ancestral Afro-Caribbean rhythms and style of her heritage, blended with her soaring soulful vocalization.
